It’s time to share what I’ve been posting over on my LTK account! I started this series because I didn’t want you to miss out on this free content in case you’re not following along on LTK or Instagram, so I’ll be posting a roundup here on the blog at the end of each month to help inspire your home décor brainstorming. Don’t forget to click all the way through to LTK (links are included in the paragraph explanations below) to get direct linked access to all of the pieces in each collection.
Rustic Cabin Bedroom:
If I ever won the lottery, one of the first things I’d do is buy a retro wood cabin for us to enjoy. It wouldn’t be too far away (we live amongst the mountains of Virginia already, after all!), but just far enough away to feel like a retreat, where we could escape small town city life. This first “Rustic Cabin Bedroom” mood board is my dream of the perfect primary suite design. Cozy textiles, earthy colors, lots of wood tones (both real and faux), and even a stack of on-theme coffee table books to flip through—it’s all here, and I really hope to have a chance to put this mood board to good use in real life someday. Luxe Closet Organization:
One of the projects I have on my “someday” list for here at our current home is a closet makeover. I spoke about our limited storage situation on the blog here in case you missed it, but I think these organization accessories would go a long way in making our existing space more functional. All of the matching velvet hangers, jewelry totes, hanging containers, fabric sweater boxes, and shelf dividers I sourced for the mood board are all linked here, plus some options for freestanding closet storage, too, if you’re starting from scratch.
Outdoor Stone Patio:
Our DIY hardscape is finished, so I’ve officially moved on to the decorating phase—my favorite part, of course. This mood board above showcases my vision for our new outdoor living and dining space, and, happily, our real life patio is actually starting to look and feel just like it! We’ve filled it with potted plants, low-maintenance faux shrubbery, modern outdoor lighting, geometric outdoor pillows, and lounge chairs. Shop the full mood board on the Dream Green DIY LTK feed this way. I can’t wait to show the final patio off to you in a few weeks once everything has arrived and has been properly styled in place. Stay tuned…
Let me know in the comments if you have a specific room or spot in your home that you’d like me to mood board next! I always make sure to prioritize follower requests first, so please do tell what’s on your list of future house projects.
