Today is a big, big day. After a loooooong 6-year hiatus, I’m officially re-launching the Dream Green DIY newsletter! This has (obviously) been a long time coming, but I finally feel ready. One of the biggest catalysts of this launch was the fact that I discovered Substack as a new home for my newsletter. I think it was about a year or so ago when I first heard about Substack. I started following one of my favorite fashion influencers on the platform, and was really impressed. It’s so much more interactive than Mailchimp (which is what I had been using for my newsletter before I discovered Substack), and feels like a true community. Readers can “like” certain posts, leave comments directly on the letters, and there’s also an OG Twitter-like “Notes” section that I have personally really enjoyed updating since I gave up Twitter the second it became “X” (ew).
I’m not going to share too much about the newsletter here since I spent so much creative energy explaining things in my first Substack letter, so make sure you hop through to “Home Matters” to read that. Oh! And, yes, the newsletter has its very own branding and name! There’s so much to learn about this new extension of DGD, so I invite you to continue reading over on my Substack here. Just so you know, I’ll be sending out this intimate-style letter bi-weekly via email, and it will generally contain behind-the-scenes updates on my life and our home renovation. It’s entirely free for now, so I hope you love it and get so much out of this (re)launch. Thanks, as always, for your support and for your patience as I gathered my wits about me to restart this really special branch of the DGD brand. Continue reading this way…
