My Top Prime Day Loloi Rugs Deals

It’s Amazon Prime Day week! Feel free to skip today’s post if you’re not a Prime member and don’t partake in this epic day of deals, but in case you are a fellow Prime member, I wanted to share just a few picks to consider for your own shopping cart. I’m definitely not going “hog wild” this year on Prime Day deals because our budget is tight as we save for a number of things around the house. There are a few things I’ve had saved in my cart for a while now, though (mostly Christmas gifts), that I’ll be watching for price drops just in case.

Another thing I love to see during this sale is a crazy-good deal on things like throw pillows and rugs. These are, in my opinion, some of the most high impact things you can purchase for a room makeover, yet seem to be a little pricey most days out of the year. If you’ve been following along for any real length of time, then you know we’ve had this Loloi rug down in our sunroom since moving in two years ago (and we had the same exact rug in our family room at the old house). It’s still my all-time favorite Loloi pattern, but I was ready for a change after so many years, and I also wouldn’t describe it as being “soft” since it’s a flat printed rug. I was hoping to find something that felt a little more inviting under-foot.

So, I took this Prime Day opportunity to swap out to the Loloi II Margot Collection MAT-02 Terracotta / Lagoon area rug. It has the same vintage faded look as the pattern in our old rug, but the colors are a little different and the texture is a 180-degree departure. The tones in our new rug lean a little more blue than green, and there’s a whole lot of pretty blush pink to love in the pattern, too. The best thing about this rug, though, is the softness. It feels like a thick chenille blanket, and since putting it down a week ago, I find myself sprawling on our new Margot rug all the time with our pets. I couldn’t recommend it more. See how the rich jewel tones in our new rug pick up on the turquoise in our velvet sectional? That was all very intentional, but what I didn’t bank on was the fact that there would be so much light minty blue in the rug, too, which is an almost perfect match to the vintage reupholstered side chair we have by the media cabinet in the corner of the room  (seen better in the photo below). It’s a match made in heaven, and I really could go on and on about how soft this rug is. You just have to feel it for yourself.
