Our Place Launches Large Always Pan

I had a totally different post scheduled for today, but then I realized that it was launch day for Our Place’s new up-sized version of their bestselling Always Pan, and I knew the timing was perfect for sharing my review of this awesome pan. We have been using cookware from Our Place for years and years now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. They kindly sent me one of their new pans pre-launch so that I could give it a try, and we’re genuinely smitten.

If you’ve never heard of this pan or used it before, the main draw is that the Always Pan is oven-safe and comes with Our Place’s promise of toxin-free materials. Their nonstick coating is the best I’ve ever worked with (I never use oil or butter anymore to prevent sticking), and the Always Pan is made without PTFE, PFAS, lead, or cadmium, so I can cook with confidence. It’s the only pan I ever use when cooking my morning eggs, and this next point is worth repeating—I swear by that amazing nonstick coating!

Since launching the 10-in-1 Always Pan and its mini counterpart, Our Place has been getting requests from home cooks to make the pan in a bigger size. There’s the regular 10.5-inch pan, the 8.5-inch mini, and now there’s the brand new 12.5-inch Large Always Pan. The first photo in this post gives you a good idea of the range in sizing. I have the Mini Always Pan and the Mini Perfect Pot, so I set those alongside our new Large Always Pan to offer size comparison perspective. The new pan is big, and has been so awesome to use for making larger meals, like this Thai Peanut Chicken bowl we whipped up the other night.

Just like the smaller versions of this pan, it sauté’s, fries, boils, sears, bakes, roasts, and so much more. We’ve been holding on to a really ratty old large nonstick pan from before we were even married 11 years ago, but I think it’s finally time to retire that one in lieu of our upgraded Always Pan. This new pan is super lightweight, and I love how many colors it comes in, too. We chose it in the color “Steam” to blend in with our creamy white kitchen, but I also love the “Sage” color.
