I’m not sure why—maybe it’s the fact that we’re still just a few weeks into 2019—but this morning feels like a really good time to kick off a brand new series. The topic? Small business shops on Etsy! It probably has a little something to do with the fact that I launched my own shop just last year, but I feel this really strong urge to spotlight the makers, artists, and curators who make their living on Etsy.
First up I wanted to swing the light over to cord x clay. I honestly don’t remember how I stumbled upon this shop in the first place, but I sure am glad that I did. It’s packed with gorgeous handmade goodies for your kitchen, your closet, and even your walls. Keep scrolling to see a few of the pieces that caught my eye from the cord x clay shop.
Favorites From Cord x Clay
3. Mini Speckled Ceramic Dishes
6. Wrapped Multicolor Tassel Fringe Earrings
7. Long Tapestry Fiber Necklace
8. White Porcelain Ceramic Vase
Elisa and Evelyn have a style that fits right in with our aesthetic here at home—neutral, organic, and the perfect blend of casual elegance. Take a second look at that White Porcelain Ceramic Vase to see what I mean. You could toss a couple flower stems in it for every day, or display it by itself on a shelf as art—either way, it’s something I could see us having in our collection for years and years.
What’s your favorite piece from that list above? Let me know in the comments, then hop over to Etsy here and give the cord x clay shop some love!

Ah, I love this! Both the gorgeous etsy shop and the series idea as a whole. As a fellow etsy seller, I think it’s awesome that you’re using your platform to support the independent maker community!
Thank you so much!! I’m excited about celebrating makers this year in a much bigger way! Love your shop, by the way 🙂
Aw, thanks Carrie! That means a lot coming from you. 🙂
My pleasure!! 🙂
