It’s honestly kind of hard to remember what life was even like before Instagram. Maybe I should be embarrassed to admit that, but I just have too much fun on the platform to be truly shy about stating my love for it. Sure, it has its moments and I definitely spend too much time scrolling my feed every day, but I get so much joy out of keeping up with the people who inspire me, so I don’t anticipate giving up on Instagram any time soon.
Of course, in addition to appreciating everybody else’s posts, I also love sharing photos of my own. To get my favorites out in the open in our home, I worked up a quick craft tutorial for DIY Faux Stained Wood Instagram Frames. You can hop over right now to Oriental Trading’s Fun365 for the full step-by-step tutorial.
Are you just as obsessed as I am with Instagram, or are you resisting the movement? Whatever the answer, I hope you’re finding a way to document those happy little lovely moments in life with whatever kind of camera you reach for most. As for me, the three photos you see printed and documented here in this post make me smile each and every time I see them—a portrait of my parent’s dog, a lakeside view from last summer, and a winter walk in Williamsburg with my dad and sister. Tell me about the picture you would print and display in the comments below!
