Christmas Gift Guide: Manly Man

Every year, without fail, John and I struggle over what to get his dad for Christmas. He’s just one of those people who is really hard to shop for, and who rarely asks for anything—bless his heart. Truth be told, both sides of our family are working hard to simplify and none of us is asking for much this year.

The key to the perfect gift amongst our parents and sisters (and for us, too) is practicality. So, with that in mind, I pulled together a dozen gift ideas that I think the guys in your life will love, including my father-in-law. This is actually the only gift guide I plan to publish on the blog this year, main reason being that I feel like we’re all being inundated by these types of posts on other favorite blogs and I don’t want to overwhelm you. I’m a big, big fan of gift guides (clearly!), but the last thing I want to do is seem pushy or sales-y. That’s definitely not the purpose of this blog, rather it’s meant to inspire you to come up with your own creative ideas. So, my hope is that this list above helps put you in the right frame of mind if you’re still on the hunt for a little something to give the guys in your life.
