As I sit here in my studio, glancing every now and again out the window at the snow coming down, I’m thinking how perfectly suited this day is turning out to be for repeated games of checkers. Happily, I’ve got just the place to play now that my DIY painted checkerboard game table is finished and ready to go. All it took to complete was a side table (mine is the infamous—and cheap—Lack table from IKEA), paint, painter’s tape and colorful wooden disks to bring it to life. Snag the full tutorial over on eHow—and, in case I haven’t mentioned it in a while, thank you so, so much for hopping over to view this extension of Dream Green DIY content. It makes my day!
P.S. In case you didn’t hear, I’m partnering up with Casetify to give one reader a free smart phone case of their choice! Get the details here.
