Can you believe that we’re practically halfway through 2016?! Whenever the Fourth of July holiday rolls around, I tend to start panicking a little over all of the things I need to get done between now and December 31. But happily, the mid-year holiday comes complete with barbecue fixings, bonfires, friends, family, and fireflies, so my panic doesn’t last too, too long.
In case you’re looking to add some last minute DIY style to your own Fourth of July fête, I put together a simple layered DIY Red, White And Blue Tissue Paper Fireworks Banner for the team over at Oriental Trading. Click those links to see more photos and to find out how to make the banner on your own in less than an hour—just in time for Monday’s party!
I actually recruited John’s help for this DIY project, and the fact that the banner got done and without incident at his hands is proof that just about anyone can tackle this craft (no offense, honey!). Click through to Oriental Trading for all of the easy-to-replicate details.
P.S. Have your put in your name to win a WORX Switchdriver yet? Contest details here.
